About Mike Mocerino
Mike is a Brooklyn-based guitarist with over 13 years experience touring and writing music. He was a metal lover from a young age. Slipknot has always been a major influence for Mike as a musician. Like many of us, Mike was also an emo kid—it wasn’t a phase.
In high school, Mike toured nationally with the likes of We Came As Romans and I See Stars. For ten consecutive years, he played guitar for Seas Of Wake. Mike also toured with The Agonist and performed at Mayhem Fest alongside Slipknot and Anthrax. This is just one of many highlights in Mike’s music career.
After years of performing metal, Mike’s music career led him to the reggae scene. He’s performed with artists like KBong (of Stick Figure) and E.N. Young. Today, Mike performs with NJ-based Sensamotion.
Mike writes for Cool Down—a two man reggae band with four self-produced singles available on all streaming platforms. He also showcases his writing and shredding skills in his own solo music. His latest project, the EP “CORG,” is dedicated to his dog—a Corgi named Biscuit.
When Mike isn’t writing or touring, you can find him in Brooklyn searching for a great cocktail or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen.
